Day Thirty

Today's the final blog....can you believe it? I know I can't. Well, blogging was fun while it lasted (most of the time...we all have our days...) but I can honestly say that I truly won't miss it that much. Blogging was fun, but every day? Psh...On top of that....Blogging isn't really THAT much fun when you have to blog and post your ideas and barely anyone reads them (or critiques them, for that matter). Oh well, it was quite fun, there were laughs, there were tears, but all in all, I say this worked out pretty well, don't you agree? It's time for my final introduction to my blogs, it's time for you to finally have me off your chest, so prepare for day thirty!

Here's a poem =D

Well, well, my little friends
As our time of blogging ends
Together we will find
It's time to leave the past behind
It's time to move
No need for pain
'Cause throughout the years
The love remains
The time is near
For us to dry
The pointless tears =D

I don't know where I'm going to go from here. I mean, blogging was fun and I never realized how good I was at it...but...it's something I simply can't do on a daily basis. I might blog about how my book after I write it and it's published, but that's about it. Or I might even blog about how my day was (which no one will read...). Don't count on it though, other classes are becoming more work heavy (especially biology...Dr. Jenson anyone? =/) and I have more important things to focus on. So...yea...

I just want to say, this was fun. Like I said, not that fun, though. Everyone did a decent job on their blogs. There are a lot of you who posted every day and you deserve a hug! Others....you barely blogged (-cough- Aarondrick -cough-) and it's really a shame. Let's not blame the internet at home, shall we?Anyways, you all did at least a decent job, and everyone should be proud of their blogs, their stories, and the effort they put into Project Cinderella! This was an amazing project, and I can't wait to see how other's stories come out!

I just realized after reading Janicka's blog that our blogs are very similar o.o Then again...our blogs are always a little similar here and there...Sorry Janicka I wasn't trying to steal your ideas...

Anyways, onto my FINAL conclusion. I wonder what it could be about....well, even though most of you don't really enjoy my comments much, it was still nice to be able to critique and help others! I may be annoying, but I try =P I just want to thank everyone for such a wonderful experience, and thank the few (yes, few) who helped me with my story! You all deserve an awesome prize (too bad I won't give it to you, though).Hmmm...what else to say... My story is coming out great! I can update my checklist from my final blog. Only thing is that I'm still not THAT confident in it, seeing as I don't know what fourth graders like (new technology, new slang, bad neighborhood/influences, things change, ya know?) but I finally like my own story (I seriously hated it...). Only thing to worry about now are the pictures, which are very...macabre. I've drawn them in crayon and colored pencil, so they're kinda messy (but very very colorful =D). When you all read my story, you will be amazed by how wonderful it came out, and I want to see how wonderful (or terrible =P) your stories come out too! Well, I just set a record for longest conclusion! Always remember:

  • Drink plenty of mud
  • Ignore your parents
  • Play with electrical cables
  • Eat plenty of puppies
  • Bury your pets
And remember to also do nothing that I just said!!!! Sorry folks, I'm runnin' out of material here....well, who isn't? You probably think I'm gonna say "And remember.....Have a nice day =D" well nope, not this time. I'm going to do something totally different. You won't even see it coming =P Yep....won't see it comin'....Any time now....Well, maybe I can think of something else to talk about in this spare time...Oh well, can't think of anything, but:

(= Have a nice day =D

Day Twenty Nine

I must say...when we first started doing this project, it was really fun. It was fun to research about the cultures, comment on other's blogs, be creative and make up a story and twist it to our every desire. On top of that, blogging was really fun. Now...the fun has gone. I'm in such an uncaring mood...it's as if I'm almost glad that this project is over, which kind of worries me. I have no idea how I'm going to finish a tikatok by thursday, do biology, algebra, etc. within two days...*sighs* patience is key, huh? Well...enough with this super long ending...now it's time for day twenty nine...yay.

Well, my tikatok is coming out...uhhh....let's do a checklist, shall we?
  • 15 pages of text - check
  • 15 pages - check
  • 15 pictures - ....
  • The story is written out - check
  • Story has been edited - ....
  • Tikatok has not been frustrating - ....
  • Very worried about my tikatok - check
  • Not very confident that my story is any good - check
  • Unwilling to let others, let alone fourth graders read it  - check
Well, at least I know where I stand =/ I have no confidence in my story at all =/ After rereading it over and over and going back and seeing if any facts are missing....I think my story is a bit...rushed. On top of that, there's detail missing here and there. ON TOP OF THAT...I don't know what my pictures will be...I know that my pictures will depict my story, only thing is...how will I ever get these pictures onto a computer? Even better question, HOW will I draw them? *Sighs* Hmmm.....yea I have no idea. Oh yea, another problem is that well, I have a lot of text which could make my pictures really small. Let's see...other weaknesses..other weaknesses...nope can't think of any. Oh yea, I DON'T HAVE A TITLE!!!!! D=< I can't think of one...this is way more frustrating than I thought =/ Any more weaknesses *crickets chirp* guess not. Onto strengths....

....Errr...Give me a minute, I'll think of some strengths...........Ok I'm back. For one, I do like how I've written my story =D It's really creative. Wait, did I just contradict myself? Yea, I just said how much I WASN'T confident in my writing =/ Well...let's look for other strengths....Well, I do have my pictures drawn out in my head and on paper. They aren't pretty, nor are they macabre. I like them, that's all that matters =D

I think what I hope to accomplish is obvious. For one, I have way too many weaknesses (and like..two strengths. Isn't that just terrible =/). Next, I MUST FIND OUT WHAT TO DO WITH THESE PICTURES!!!!! After that...I need to gain confidence in my book, I sometimes don't even wanna look at it let alone edit it. Then...I need to STOP worrying so much about this book IT'S ANNOYING ME D=< Finally...I need to stop typing in caps, it's scary =/

Time to end this anger-filled blog. Brush your ears, keep your toenails dirty, remember to murder innocent people, and adultery is not a sin. DO NOTHING I JUST SAID!!! (again with the caps....) Well, here's what you should really do:

  • Fail your classes
  • Keep your body unhealthy
  • Stop blogging
  • Drink plenty of arsenic
  • Bury animal remains
  • Listen to rap
Again, do nothing I jsut said to do. Also remember, that with a positive attitude, you can always...

Have a nice day =D

Day Twenty Eight

Uhhh...dedication? We have to dedicate this book we're writing to someone D= Umm...yea, this is going to be a tough one alright. Well, here goes day 28.

Ok...I really have no one to dedicate this story to =/ No one ever helps me write, and nothing inspires my writing. I just write...to write. The only real help I've gotten on this book are a few grammar mistakes on blogs (which mean nothing) and a few grammar mistakes on my story (which I've fixed)...so nothing really worth dedicating =/ Dedicating it to my mother is so tacky and overused, and dedicating it to grandparents is even tackier. Can't dedicate it to a classmate, since all I get are comments that say "Good job! Good job!!!" and since hardly anyone bothers to read my blogs anyways =/ Can't dedicate this to God since...he doesn't really exist... Yep...this'll be a tough one =/

*Sighs* I bet you think I'm a soulless troll about now, right? Oh well.

Now...I truly need to think on who to dedicate this book to. WAIT I have an idea....I CAN DEDICATE THIS BOOK TO MR. PRIER =DDDDD Without him, I literally wouldn't be writing this book at all =D He's helped me be on track with 24 lovely blogs which helped me think, brainstorm, and figure out any flaws in my blog. I truly thank you Mr. Prier, and I thank you for this wonderful opportunity to thank you!!! Project cinderella has been wonderfulk and I can't believe this wonderful experience is almost over!!! I WILL MISS BLOGGING AND GETTING TO ANNOY EVERYONE >=D

Sorry, this isn't very heartfelt. I'm not that kind of guy, really.

Now, onto my conclusion: Bye. Come back tomorrow for the second-to-final edition of project cinderella. Remember, eat your parents, soak your eyes, and make sure your tongue is nice and filthy. Also remember to:

Have a nice day.

Day Twenty Seven

Titles...REALLY? We have one break off from blogging, then we get to talk about anything we want to, and now we have to talk about TITLES???????????? Well...at least it's better than "social responsibility" bleh...well that wasn't a very nice start, was it? =/ Oh well, here's day 27...

Well, seeing as the title of my story is "The Strange Tale of Doctor Dog" which is longand boring, let's change it into something short and sweet. I think we can just cut out the "The Strange Tale of" seeing as many folktales are strange (I have yet to read one that isn't...), but the thing is "Doctor Dog" doesn't really make a...wait, yes it does. It's short and sweet. I like short and sweet =D Ahem, now, onto what possible titles that my story can have:
  • The title
  • The Story About a Girl Who Gets Cured By a Dog Who Later Kidnaps Her and Returns Her
  • The Story of Things That Exist When They Don't Exist But They Exist When They Can't Possibly Exist Yet They Exist Even Though They Can't Exist But They Do. Do They Exist?
  • I believe I can fly!
  • I believe I can touch the sky: Sequel to I believe I can fly
Now, onto the real titles:
  • The
  • Diz Stowee Iz Da Bawb!
  • Seventy Ways To Get Beat Up
  • This is the story which will have the longest story name ever and if you read this story you will be super cool because you're reading this story even though it's not really that interesting but who cares because this is the best story name ever and you should really read this book because it's awesome because it has the longest title ever and I think the title is almost over now...nope this is the best title in the world because it's so long now go ahead and read my story hahahahhahahahahaha this title is super long
  • .....I'll think of a title later, ok?
  • Blood, Gore, Suicide, and Depression
Ok, here are the REAL titles!!!!!!!
  • Do not read this book
  • How Mr. Chien got a life
  • I'M SERIOUS DON'T READ THIS BOOK!!!!!
  • Toenails are people too!
  • Ok fine, read this book. But don't say I didn't warn you!
Ok, here are the REALLY REALLY REAL TITLES!!!!!
  • Mr. Chien
  • Mr. Chien and the Unfortunate Honeysuckle
  • Mr. Moreau and the Strange Encounter
  • The Lonely Tale of Mr. Moreau
  • Mr. Chien and the Beautiful Girl
Here are more titles..
  • Mysterious Chien and Hopeful Moreau
  • Mr. Chien and His Strange Tale
  • The Unfortunate Honeysuckle (and the Mysterious Mr. Chien)
  • How Honeysuckle was Saved
  • The Tale of Mr. Chien
Now I must say the signifigance? This won't be easy ummm...well, I just don't want a title with "The Strange Tale" that's just tacky. I do want a title that has something to do with the plot though...wait..who doesn't? Ok to be honest I have no idea what to say..I'm just coming up with things =/ Well...I can't really state the signifigance of any of my titles accurately as I don't even know what the title is going to be. But I DO know this, I do wan't Mr. Chien's name to be in the title, seeing as he is THE most important character in my story.

Please pick a title, I really don't know which one is best. I REALLY do not want "The Strange Tale of Mr. Chien"...well...at this point I guess that's the only one that really fits, huh? What do you think? Please tell me the best title...I truly don't know =/ And remember:

Have a nice day =D

Day Twenty-Six

Ok...umm....wow. Coming up with my own blog....really? =/ Umm....yea....well...not much of an introduction here. Here's day...26...enjoy?

I really have NO idea what to talk about....I mean...I could talk about how much I've enjoyed blogging, why my story is better than everyone else's (which...it isn't), why my dog won't stop eating grass, why something breaks in my house every ten seconds, why some people have longer ears than others, why black is a better color than orange, why some animals produce asexually while others produce...ok I'm getting really off topic here. Hey...wait a sec...I can really enjoy myself here =D Let's play a little game, shall we? Let's count how many times I say the word "I" in my next paragraph!

But what to write about? O.O Umm....*sighs* let's just write about how blogging's been so far? Yea...let's go with that.

I think that blogging has been really fun so far. I truly can't believe that blogging is almost over, seeing as it seems like we've just started this yesterday (I've been saying this so many times it's really getting old by now, isn't it?). I've been blogging 24/7 (as you all know) and I've so far posted every blog on time and I've commented (as you also know) on time for every blog, and I feel proud of it. My blogs may not have been the best, but I've put work and effort into them, and I am very proud of that and the fact that everyone's managed to deal with my obssessive commenting =) I thank everyone for your thoughts (even though I barely got any) and I'm going to say "you're welcome" to everyone (translation: Luis and Brett...hah just kidding) who's thanked me for helping them! This would be more sappy and emotional but this isn't day 30 so...yea.

Word count: 12...not bad. Ok, I'm sick of these word counts D=< let's play another game, shall we? Oh wait...let's not. Games are for losers =P Just kidding...ok I'm running out of material...oh right, an ending! Of course..

Let's have some more fun here =D Post how many times I've annoyed you all with my comments =D I bet that'll be fun, right? Well...it would be for me =/ Anyways, this is day 26, my head is aching, my nose and runny, and now it's time to move on to the other blogs of the day. Remember, only YOU can prevent forest fires! And NEVER forget...oh wait....what was it?....I forgot....awkward....wait, no I didn't =D Always remember:

Have a nice day =D

Day Twenty-Five

Ok....this seems easy enough. Seriously...I can literally remember posting day one...it's like...so unbelievable that this is almost over D= oh well time to get over it. Here's day twenty five.

Hmmmm...when I reread my story, it seemed to flow a bit. In fact, I'm only going to change a few things. It's probably this way because I'm so used to writing. If you look on my laptop, you will see many poems and stories written by me. Now, now, I'm not a perfect writer (no one is), there are times when I simply dread rereading my work because I think it came out horrible (which it sometimes does). Ok, enough of that.

I didn't know that stories made sounds....I think my sounds like a love bird =D tweet, tweet! Ok, seriously, I think that while raeding my story it sounded a bit...dramatic. Along with dramatic, I think my story has a few places where there could be more information, and there are also areas where there could be less information. This story sounds like something a child would read and enjoy...but I can't say this with confidence since I'm not quite sure what children like nowadays (killing, wars, the internet...things change, ya know?).

The flow...hmmm...my story flowed really well for the most part. Only thing is the beginning. I don't like how I started my story at all. I didn't want to be too informative (explain the main characters, the setting, plot, what happens, etc all in ONE sentence...does that make sense?), nor did I want it to sound boring..but it seems it's on the border of boring. After the first page..pages three to five seem to just kinda hang out there... ...well, it just seems like a page or two is just there to be there since I need 15 pages, does that make sense?

Style....style...style...hmmm...what exactly does this mean? Give me a minute...(a few hours later) ok I'm back. The style of the story is simply one paragraph above my crudely drawn illustrations. The paragraphs themselves are quite quick and to the point. Only thing is, I say one thing on one page, and explain it on another. That's not really a bad thing...it just seems like I'm just trying to take up space for those 15 pages. It's like..."Honeysuckle went to the lake" on one page, and on the next page it's "After going to the lake, she saw a fish." Does that make sense?

I think my real problem is worrying too much about 15 pages. As I've said, the flow was good except for the fact that I was just kind of adding things that didn't need to be there, and it's as if I'm taking up space just for 15 pages. Meh, I'll get over it eventually and stop about it.

This was it for day 25, come back again tomorrow, for the tragic day 26...am I the only who senses that day 26 will be difficult? Oh yea, I need a funny yet annoying ending. Say yes to drugs, drop out of school, eat plenty of fat, and make sure to not do any of the things that I just said! And remember:

Have a nice day =D

Day Twenty-Four

I can't believe how close we are to ending project cinderella...it's almost as if we just started it yesterday =/ I remember it now...making my first blog, commenting on everyone else's blog...being hated for commenting on everyone's blog...ahhhh...good times good times =D *snaps out of it* ok, let's get serious now. Time for day twenty-four...climaxes...

Let's have a little fun. Let's count how many times I say the word "climax" =D

Ok, so, even though not much happens in a my story, there are many things in my story that could be a climax. *Reads list where climax types are listed* hmmm....I don't really know where any of these climaxes could fit. Oh wait, I know...wait...first, let's list the possible climaxes, shall we? =)
  • Honeysuckle is bitten by a poisonous fish and later becomes ill for three days, close to death. This could be the climax because...well, doesn't it just scream "CLIMAX!!!!!!" and on top of that, it adds up a lot of tension. Since she is close to death and saying she will die, that will add a bit of a "Will she ever be cured??? D=" kind of feelin' don't ya think?
  • Honeysuckle is kidnapped by Mr. Chien. Well, of course this builds up tension. It also teaches my moral perfectly (know it or else). Seeing that she is gone for many years and Mr. Moreau is unable to cook, I think this'll add a "Will she ever be found??? D=" kind of feelin' don't ya think?
List of possible climaxes that my climaxes could be are:
  • Goals achieved or shockingly lost
  • Relationships made or mended
  • Greatest challenges met or failed
It could be the goals achieved one because well...Honeysuckle was sick and she finally got better. Also, Mr. Moreau finally gets his daughter back after she returns to him. And Mr. Chien gets himself a nice bride...nice climax, huh? As for "Greatest challenges met or failed" well....actually it's sort of the same as "Goals achieved"... Honeysuckle is sick, gets cured, then gets kidnapped, then returns, etc. Uh huh it's definately the same, don't ya think? =/ It could be "Relationships made or mended" mainly because Honeysuckle and Mr. Chien get married...well, that's not a very good climax...Oh well enough with zee climaxes, let's focus on other things!

...What to focus on...what to focus on....hmmm....well, I guess the main climax in my story could be when Honeysuckle (why do I always mention this name 500 times in a blog???) gets kidnapped, cause that's really where all the drama starts. Wait, no it's not...Honeysuckle getting sick is where the drama starts! Yea...that could be my climax! Mhm Honeysuckle getting sick is definately...well...I DON'T KNOW, OK? D=< I have to really think about this...

Climax word count: 14...hmmm not bad

In the meantime, stay in school, don't do drugs, stay away from alchohol, put out all forest fires, recycle, donate to the poor, stranger danger, and remember....wait...what is it again? I forgot...hehe...remember what I just forgot! =P But most importantly...

Have a nice day =D

Day Twenty-Three

Ok....um...wow....I don't know what's worse...this blog, the fact that barely anyone did this blog, or the fact that I keep forgetting to blog until late 9 o'clock pm...Wow...this is a TOUGH one! I barely understand what the directions are...so, with a bunch of guesses, I bring you...day twenty-three...yay...

Social responisibilty...social responsibility...social responsibility...GUH I DON'T GET IT D=< (does a bit of research) Ok...I'm back (yes I stole this from my previous blog...is it such a sin?). So, my main protagonist, Mr. Moreau, will be a loving, helpful, hopeful father. Honeysuckle will be an obedient, innocent little girl with big dreams. Mr. Chien will be a helpful gentleman who sometimes does things without thinking.

To further explain why my characters are like this, here's a boring list of examples...just kidding. Well, here they are:

- Mr. Chien steals Honeysuckle for his bride without just asking if she wants to marry him..so....his job is to create a climax =D and to help teach my moral (I'M NOT REPEATING IT)!!!!
- Even though Honeysuckle cannot wait to be a chef, she gets her father's permission to prepare a dish which ultimately gets her poisoned. So her job is to be obedient...which gets her in trouble (geez, what a conradiction) and teaches the main lesson of the story.
- Mr. Moreau...uhh...well...he does his best to help Honeysuckle realize that being a chef takes time and patience? Ok...not sure if this one counts at all...How about this one: Mr. Moreau helps Honeysuckle realize that she might not die...? His job is also to help teach the moral, by being hopeful towards Honeysuckle's unfortunate happenings...errr...Ok I quit -.-

I want Honeysuckle to be sweet and innocent, so that characters would be more sympathetic to her near demise (would you be sad if a rotten girl was about to die? I know I wouldn't...) and her kidnapping. I want Mr. Chien to be a gentleman, so that makes him a perfect groom for Honeysuckle, and also adds a bit of mystery to him (a dog-like creature who's a gentleman...that's new, isn't it?). Mr. Moreau...well, every child needs a caring father, right? The moral (you should know it, I'm not repeating it D=<) of my story wouldn't be if Mr. Moreau didn't care about his daughter (but it would enhance the "follow your dreams" moral) and hoped that she would get better/return to him.

Hmm...this was easier than I thought =/ Actually...no it wasn't. Could someone please tell me if this is somewhat accurate? I don't like guessing things I MUST KNOW THE TRUTH!!!!! Well...I'm done guessing...so...only thing to do now is think of a silly ending...can't think of one...however:

Have a nice day =D

Day Twenty-Two

Day twenty-two...TIME FOR ANOTHER EXCITING BLOG WRITTEN BY ME!!!! =D Now, this is going to be very easy...all I have to do is focus on theme...yay...

Ok, so the theme of my story is....uhhh...I'll have to get back to you on that one. Wait a sec...(researches what theme means)...Ok, I'm back.  So, the theme of my story is (as you should know, I've been saying it fifty times per blog =/)....always hope for the best! This is just about the only theme that could possibly fit the story, along with follow your dreams (which doen't really...well..I guess it can count as a theme, eh?) Here are a few example that help support my themes:

In the meantime, let's count the number of time I include the word "hope" in the following sentences =D

 - Mr. Moreau says directly in my story to Honeysuckle while she is near death in her bed, "Always hope for the best."
- Mr. Moreau watches the forest sometimes, knowing that Honeysuckle will return to him.
- Honeysuckle doesn't think she's that good of a chef, so Mr. Moreau tells his daughter to always hope to become a chef, no matter how life can get.
- Honeysuckle wants to be a chef, and at the end of the story, she becomes the world's greatest chef from following her fahters advice to never stop cooking (hoping =D ).
- Mr. Moreau hopes his daughter will get better after she is bitten by a mysterious green fish!

Word count: 5...not bad at all hehe...

Anyways, according to this assignment I have to list events that will help support my theme...check. I have to state what my theme is...check. Now all I have to do is make things up so this will count as a second paragraph...hmm...I know! I want my theme to be always hope for the best, because I want kids to learn to never give up. I also want kids to know that sometimes life can get rough (and it can lead you onto the brink of madness...) and you may not like EVERYTHING that happens in your life.

Time to leave for now. Farewell, and may the Gods (which don't exist) bless you on your travels! Ok that was kinda corny...Let's try...Thanks for reading! Come back tomorrow for another edition of...PROJECT CINDERELLA =DDDD Ok that was a bit much...here's another ending to my blog:

Have a nice day =D

Day Twenty-One

I've been dreading this day since project cinderella started...Sorry, but most of this blog is just going to be me, brainstorming and trying to figure out what the heck I'm doing, hehe...Oh no...now it's....it's.......it's....time for blog...blog...blog....TWENTY ONE D= D= D=

First line...first line...first line....hmmm....hold on, give me a minute. (10 hours later....) Sorry, still nothing...give me a little bit more time, ok? (12 days later...) NOW I'VE GOT IT! Sorry, it sort of takes a while to think of a first line. You know, I have really given my story as much thought as I had thought. Thanks once again for keeping me on track...now for my first lines:

- Here is the tale of how the small French village of the delightful Mr. Moreau and his lovely daughter, Honeysuckle, has been changed forever due to the magical power of a mysterious dog named Mr. Chien.

I'm also thinking about:

- There once was a man named Mr. Moreau and his daughter Honeysuckle. The two lived happily in a small French village. That is, until they met the strange Mr. Chien from a saddening event that will change the lives of Mr. Moreau and his daughter forever.

In these sentences, we are introduced to the three main characters, the setting of the story, and it sort of makes you wonder what exactly will happen in the story, doesn't it? I'm really liking the first sentence better than the second one...but I think I like the second sentence a little more. I will decide on the sentences tomorrow, seeing as we're gonna start writing the story anyways.

Those first lines will NOT be permanent. I am open to any suggestions, please tell me =D

Ok...picture time. So, for the picture, it will definately have Mr. Moreau and Honeysuckle in it. The only thing is...what else will be in the picture? Hmm...I think perhaps that the two can be smilling together, or something. Bare with me, I'm brainstorming =D Now...I KNOW!!! The picture will depict Mr. Moreau and his daughter sitting on a rock in the forest next to their village, as is it where the two spend most of their time. The two will be smilling, and the village will be in the background =D Don't worry, I've drawn things way harder than this =)

Once again, I'm open to suggestions! Please help me, I'm sad ='(

That's all I've got, folks. Come back tomorrow for another edition of project cinderella!

Have a nice day =D
